Jeritza this one is for you, the Spanish Winnie the Pooh - How cute!!
Behind me is the Plaza Mayor, we were lucky to have been 3 blocks away from it.
Our first stop on this trip was Madrid, the capitol of Spain. Once we arrived at the airport we caught the metro, its looks similar to DC's. Unfortunetly, apart from the Architecture which is beautiful, I did not find anything else that I liked: the food is not good, we tried the churros with its side of thick chocolate - do Spainers really drink it?

The Following was not a stop at the Hotel Puerta America designed by Jean Nouvel (core and shell as well as the lobby and one of the interior levels) The rest of the floors: Haza, Foster, and many more famous architecture!! Unfortunetly we were not able to see any of the suites, so who is cheaper you ask? Foster from about 160 Eu per night the most expensive is Nouvel!!!
